The problem

After clarity comes
the hardest part.

"You see the gap. You know what needs to change. And then — you hesitate. Because deciding from your future self feels new, and unfamiliar, and uncertain."

Most overthinking isn't a lack of intelligence. It's a lack of a system — a repeatable way to evaluate decisions that doesn't rely on how you feel that day.

Without one, you default to the old version of yourself. The one who played it safe, undercharged, said yes when she meant no.

The Decision Filter is the system. Five questions. Any decision. Minutes. Anchored not to who you were — but to who you are becoming.

The framework

Five filters.
Every decision, clarified.

Run any opportunity, offer, collaboration or decision through these five questions. Your answer will become clear — usually within minutes.

F1
Alignment
"Does this feel like her — or like the version I'm trying to leave behind?"
Your future identity is the compass. If this decision requires you to show up as your old self, it is not aligned — regardless of how good the opportunity appears on paper.
F2
Energy
"Does this expand me or contract me when I imagine saying yes?"
Notice the body — not the logic. Expansion feels like energy, openness, momentum. Contraction feels like tightness, dread, or "I should." Trust the distinction. The body knows before the mind catches up.
F3
Direction
"Does this move me toward my defined future identity — or away from it?"
Not "is it good?" — but "is it on the path?" Some good opportunities are simply not on your path right now. Saying no to them is not a loss. It is precision in motion.
F4
Standards
"Would the woman I am becoming accept these terms — or am I settling?"
Pricing, time, boundaries, conditions. Run them through her standards — not yours from six months ago. If she would not accept these terms, neither should you.
F5
Consequence
"What is the real cost of yes? What is the real cost of no?"
Both have a cost. Name them with full honesty. A decision made with complete awareness of both costs is a clean decision — even when it is a hard one.
How it works

One page.
Any decision. Minutes.

1

Name the decision

Write the specific opportunity, offer or choice you're evaluating. Not vague — specific. Precision in the question produces precision in the answer.

2

Run each filter

Answer all five questions honestly. Notice which ones create friction — that friction is information, not noise. Write your answers in the worksheet.

3

Choose cleanly

Yes, No, or Not now. A decision made with full awareness — even a difficult one — is a clean decision. Clean decisions compound into a life that actually fits you.

Why this tool works

Designed for decisive women
who want to stay that way.

It replaces deliberation with a system

Deliberation costs energy, time and momentum. A system costs three minutes. The Decision Filter turns a 2-hour internal debate into a five-question evaluation — without bypassing your judgment or intuition.

Anchored to your future identity — not your past one

Most frameworks ask "is this good?" This one asks "is this aligned with who I'm becoming?" That distinction is everything. Your decisions evolve as you do.

Works for every category of decision

Pricing, collaboration, content direction, offers, investments, relationships, boundaries. One framework. Unlimited use.

Pairs directly with the Identity Gap Edit

The future identity you defined in the workbook becomes the anchor for every filter. The two tools are designed to compound over time.

Reusable — permanently

Print the worksheet, use it digitally, reach for it whenever a significant decision arrives. You will use this tool this week, next month, and for years to come.
